Make Teddybears that will be donated to the J. D. Kortzeborn Child Advocacy Center in French Camp. This center serves abused/traumatized children ages 0-18 in San Joaquin County and after each forensic exam and interview they are given one of our teddybears!

Volunteers will be cutting out Teddy bear pattern pieces, pinning which is also called basting pattern pieces, machine sewing, hand sewing buttons on girl bear dresses, stuffing empty bears and hand sewing bears closed and hand sewing bows on bears. This project is very kid and family friendly as well as limited mobility friendly too!

I ask volunteers to bring their own needles and thread and fabric cutting scissors. I do have a limited number of scissors to bring for volunteers to use at the event.  If you wish to use a sewing machine, we ask the you to bring yours to the event.
